(2) RE SE 12's sealed vs. (1) RE XXX 12 ported

First, hello everyone, glad to be here, this is my first post. Yep, a noob with a noob question.

Second, I don't want this to turn into a "What is the best sub?" question or debate. I'm not asking which is better, only for opinions and feedback for my specific application. I've narrowed my choice down to 2 combo's as stated in the title. Daily driver, looking for SQL, won't compete, and I listen to rock, rap, country. I'll give specifics on each one, so here goes.

2001 Ford Ranger extended cab, so I'm limited on space. I still need some use of the back for gear bags and such. Sub amp is the following: X1.2000.1D

My first option is 2 RE SE 12's in a sealed box. The box is 1.25 per sub total, 1.1 net, downfiring. The SE's call for 1.0 so this is pretty close. I know this is a lot of power to throw at them for daily, but I can be conservative with gain settings.

Second option is 1 XXX 12 in a 2.5 net ported box tuned to 32-34 hz, per RE's specs. I'm assuming the sub will be upfiring, I don't know if or how a downfiring ported box would work. From what I've heard the XXX will love the power of that amp.

The SEs will have more quality, the XXX will have more output. I would personally recommend the XXX because it's just less of a hassle than having two woofers to worry about, and with the power you have it would be just insane. =) You could wire it to 1 ohm and have this wanging tailgate party pickup, then wire it to 4 ohm for a kick *** SQ DD.

XXX ported. Run it in a low tuned enclosure and the SQ will be amazing. When you set the gains on that amp, just set it to produce the speakers RMS and you will be fine.
