2 ported 8's or 2 sealed 10's

I now have a silverado ext cab and i wanted to know which be better bet.

2 JL 8W3 Ported or 2 JL 10W0 Sealed

I plan on running a JL 1000 or Kicker 750 or 1000 mono

I currently have 2 CVR 10 in a sealed box on rf 125.2

ive heard the w0's in a truck sealed and they sounded horrid. I would go with the 8's ported or stay with the cvr's. What amp do you have on the kickers? maybe just put the 750.1 or 1000 on those and youd be fine that way also.

So the ported 8's wouldn't do me any better than the kicker setup on JL 1000 mono amp?

If you're happy with the response curve that the CVR's are giving you, add some more power to get some more output from them...they can definitely take it thermally, I'm assuming that you're not reaching mechanical limits.
