2 or 4 ohm?

Why is that..Ill have 460 to a 700rms...which is like what 65%...Do I really need a bigger amp.
Just put the sub in a ported box when you get it, tune a little lower and you'll be golden.

You will need to make sure that that amp can run at 2 ohm mono, if it can't then you will need a different amp.
No. He hasn't bought the sub yet so if he gets a single DVC 2 ohm sub he wires them in series and gets 4 ohms.

it's less than ideal, but ~400w should be plenty to get most any sub sounding pretty well. If it doesn't it's more likely to be a sub or enclosure problem than a not enough power problem.
