2 ohm vs 4 ohm

i am running 2 ohm, i checked before i wired it

Brad, I copied this from the webpage for your woofer from the link that YOU put in your original post....

"Dual 2-ohm voice coils allow you to wire this sub for 1- or 4-ohm impedance, giving you more flexibility in setting up your system. Rockford Fosgate optimizes this Prime sub for both sealed and ported enclosures so you can choose the type of bass you want in your ride."

You cannot wire a DVC x 2ohm sub to 2 ohms. Only 1 ohm or 4 ohms (as stated in YOUR link).

With the amp you have you have to wire the coils in series for a 4 ohm load.

Thank u all for all the info to help me out how to wire it. the sub was only 23.00 so I was not to worried about it messing up but now u can fix it and hopefully get better sound
