i was wondering how much of a diffrence 2 ohm or 4ohm sound. could i really tell a diffrence. i am going to buy a idmax and i dont know wich one to get (dual 2ohm and run it at 4ohm or dual 4ohm and run it at 2ohm) i know getting the dual 4 ohm will lower my sub amp cost but i dont want to risk losing sq.

There is no sound difference between 2 ohm and 4 ohm. It just has to do with how much current it will pull from your amp. Good choice by the way with the IDMax.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yep it makes no audible difference. And I will second the nice choice on subs. If you power it right, and put it in the proper enclosure you will have really loud sq //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
