2 ohm or 1 ohm

the ma HK-4000D says it is a 2 ohm stable amp so what would happen if I ran it a 1ohm?

RMS Power @ 14.4V

50W x 1 @ 4 Ohm

3600W x 1 @ 2 Ohm

RMS Power @ 17.0V

75W @ 4 Ohm

4000W @ 2 Ohm

and why would it only make 50/75 watts at 4 ohm.
