You will need four 6X9. Run 2 of them in parallel and youll be at 2 ohms. But it sounds like that amp is a lil big for your 6X9

You have a 4 ohm 6x9 and an amp that is stable for 2 ohm stereo? Hook the 6x9 up........ it will run fine on that amp. Do you have a pair of 4 ohm 6x9s? What exactly are you asking here?

the amp is 2ohm stable but the speakers which are 6x9s are 4ohm, and just in case you asked the stereo is 4volts preamp
