ok, not the sub...i hooked amp up to another sub and no sound either.........what would happen if my ground was bad.....

if you have a bad ground then your amp would probably go into protect mode.

well wouldnt that red light come on.......i hooked up a 600 watt jbl amp up and it works fine.......is there an easy way to check this amp
