Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. Referring to the OP, I would not recommend the Lanzar Max 8, because of how their made. Very cheap. My brother in laws little brother got one as a birthday gift and I had it install in a prefabricated box which is .6cu and running off a cheap 400watt power acoustic amp and it sound awful. I took it out and ran it on my amp which is a Memphis ST16-1000D 1100watt mono amp(300watt@4ohm, 600watt@2ohm, and 1100watt@1ohm) and it almost blew the sub on 300watt. They sound more like mid-bass and not like a sub. I have a single SA8v2 in dual 2 configuration(1ohm final) and ran 1100watt on it and I have fool people in thinking that I have 10s or 12s. I will differently get the sundown over 2 Lanzar Max8. Trust me, 1 sundown e8v3 will hit harder and sound louder than 2 Lanzar Max8. Yea, 2 Lanzar Max8 will have more cone area, but the sundown e8v3 have better quality and handle more power than both combine. I'd read some forum that the Lanzar MAX 8 don't do well over 200watt and they tend to have their coil lead snapping off on just 150watt. I would save an extra $50-60 and get either the Sundown or American Bass. Lanzar are crap and their not like how they use to back in the 90s.
