i just bought the x's today for 700$ local and if im selling my escalade i will be getting a ext cab truck like a sierra or silverado but anyways can both of these subs fit in the back of an extended cab? would it be loud or is there not enough air space?

it would prolly be hard to fit both solo x's in the back of an extended cab....i know they do require more airspace than most 18's....you could probably get by with some nightshades, btls, or hdc's if you're set on fitting 2 18's with proper airspace....and i'm sure it would be almost as loud

I had 2 in a 10^3 box. Worked very well in my Navi.

2x solo x 18s in 10 cubes? Hm i would think 12 would be the bare minimum, but how much power you have going to them?

And on a side note, i saw a f150 ext cab with 2x solo X 18s..box looked plenty big..if u make it a wedge then u get more space than a wall..as in go big at the bottom and small at the top to go along the angle of your seats. Also..a sierra or full sized truck hsa more ext cab space than most..I have a ext cab colorado and i can fit a 12 ish cube box in there without going to the window line...i can prob do 14 before any displacements if i really wanted to and 12 shuld work fine for solo x 18s even tho theyd like 8-10 better a peice.

also if u decide to get rid of them, Nightshades perform excellent in smaller enclosures than other 18s. U can get by with a 18 nightshade in 4 cubes or so. Just some food for thought

would it be the loudest in my escalade to just wall it or do subs up port back both ways will be 20 cubes with about 3000 to 4000 rms on each

Kicker told me when I spoke to them to try not to go below 5.5 cubes per sub. They said if you have it to go with 8 cubes per then take out from there with port bracing and so on.

what were u hitting daily? and was the box only 10 cubes? what was the port dimetions
I never metered daily because, I didn't play it that loud. For daily, I had 2 Eartquake D3s on 12v. For competition, I had 4 American Bass 150.1s off of 16v. So for comps. I would have to swap out amps and batteries.

I really can't remember the port size, that was 5 years ago.
