Look, this kid thinks his shit dont stink, we know better. There are plenty of know-it-all morons like bossman in the world, dont grow an ulcer trying to educate someone who doesn't think they even need it.
He's already shown he did not have his gain the set the way he's claimed (giving it 1000 watts). It doesn't take a genius to see the kid screwed up and is now too stubborn/ignorant to admit/realize it. So be it. Let him call them JunkMax's, who really cares. Anyone with half a clue will read his 'opinion' and immediately know he's a retard. I mean, he's still arguing power handling versus efficiency as if he has a clue... when he's already proven he hasn't. He has no problem talking like an expert while flying by the seat of his pants. Convinving an idiot that they are an idiot... is even more unrealistic than convincing bossman he's wrong here. Everyone has excuses. Im 100% confident bossman thinks he's stumbled upon an internet board full of idiots. Little does he realize this board is not your average slice of car audio enthusiasts that dont know their *** from a hole in the ground. In local neighborhoods, his 'expertise' would fly... around here it wont cut it.

Well what you think I gave it 2000 watts each. Trust me I gave it the recommended watts and it blew. I might not be 50 years old but I know how to setup equipment.

also, what i just noticed is that in his pics, the box he had the iDmax's in is too **** big for each of those subs. If he checked, iDmax's should be in a box around 1.3 cubes. Those chambers looks to be around 2 cubes or so. If you're gonna go with a box that's bigger than recommended, don't push the subs with their maximum thermal rms rating. retard.
