Well which amp are you running? What's your total power? Knu's Kolossus 4 gauge is rated at 150A which should be good up to around 1200w give or take.

Most likely the rsd1200. I mean...I'm sure the gain wont even be near half way up. It wont be running a full 1200rms anyways will it? If I set my gains too 1000rms?

Or Should I just get the kicker 750.1? I heard they're underrated along with the PG600.1. I'm running a IA death row 12" in a 2.5 cube (after displacement) aeroport @ 32hz. What should I do.

Out of those I'd probably get the Kicker...they make **** good amps but that's just me. Setting your gain at half does not mean your getting half power. Do a little reading on how gains work and you'll figure it out. It is possible to set the gain so the amp only outputs 1000w but it's not that simple. I recommend Basic Car Audio Electronics for some learning //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

^This, especially the basic car audio electronics site. Very good and very informative.

Also, don't forget that amp output ratings are a bit fudged by the manufacturers and the possibility that you are going to get the full output for any extended period of time is pretty small.

Yea, I porbably should go with the kicker, I believe my alternator is only a 105amp. But if you mean using the DMM and a test tone to set the gain of the amp to only put out 1000watts, I know how to do that, unless there's a different way lol.
