never heard the dd9515b's so i cant comment, but the r's will be loud, and depending on install sound half decent.

alot of people say some really good things about the dd's, so its hard to say.

maybe you can get some more responces about the dd's.

i would say the r's should have an advantage strickly due to more displacement.

lilmaniac has some DD motors I believe, you might get in touch with him.
Im also pretty sure he has some DD 9917s if you wanted to try those out.
already talked to him he wont respond to my PM and in his thread said as far as he knows he doesnt have any more...so i guess thats a no

yea i know thats why this is so hard...theres F UCKING LOUD with the type arrs then theres the DDs which will be not as loud but sound better and be more unique...and it will be in a nice *** box tuned lowish powered by my Powerbass...and down the road get another if i get DDs

I normally like DD's as you can tell in my signature...but in those two choices the type r's would be a better choice especially with that old of DD's...If they were the newer f series...it would be a whole new thing or even the triple stacked d series...but type r's are good speakers and if you have the room..that would be the way to go...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well it would depend on how much power you have which will help you find out how much port area you should have and will it take up any of that 10 cubes with 1cube in sub motors + the port? 10/4 is only 2.5 each. That is too small,4 12's would be fit well but if the dd's can do well in 4-5 each do them instead. I think 3.5-4 is good for a 15 R with 50in of port area and 1500RMS 2000burps. 12's like 2.3-2.6ft with 40-50in of port area depending on power, tune 32-37 per vehicle. Figure out what kind of box you plan with the two DD's and see if anything else works out.
