2 cubic feet too much for a pair of 8's?

Eh, I'd be careful running them in the large of an enclosure. How "stiff" are they?

talked to taylorfade and he says they are very stiff right now , but they haven't even been broken in yet. i wont have them till tuesday

Not sure how accurate this is but the pair of 8's on 800 watts is showing the same SPL as my RD 15 did on 500 watts when i designed the box for it using winisd..

I don't trust it , just use it as a basis for the first box , then if i'm not satisfied i start a build in the direction of the sound/performance i'm looking to achieve.

so i talked to a few people that run or have ran these subs. and the conclusion is 2 cubes at 34hz is perfect for these subs. i never even gave them my thoughts on size at all , just asked questions and the answers have been unanimous. 2 cubes @ 34 hz and about 1K of clean power will rock these babies. if not , i can always modify the box later. LOL.
