Normal or inverted , what do you think?

These are the subs and this is a very poor MS paint of the way everything will be mounted , its terrible paint skills but its pretty close to scale. On top of the box will be the other 2 amps

Should i mount the subs inverted to show off the beasty little motors? Or should i mount them flush , i can't decide , which end would you rather see if you peeked in my trunk??

don't invert unless you take those ugly stickers off. It would be better than mounting normal IMO cuz the dustcap logo looks kinda cheap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Might be a ***** to get them off. I will have to see once they get here. I was thinking the same thing about the dustcap and sticker both , thats why i'm up in the air.

little off subject here but I wonder why no companies have made subs just for inverting. like, using a DD 9500 motor for an 8" lol.

but its a 3" coil , not sure if you would see a good amount of excursion with a coil that big , more coil diameter takes away from the size of the spiders. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

taking the sticker off shouldnt be a problem, if its a painted surface underneath use xylene to get the adhesive off, hard to tell from the pictures if its painted undernearth or what

Only place ive looked for it is at painters supply places and im unsure of the price lol. Dont rub tooooo hard tho because it will lift

couldn't you make the basket look like a top and have a 9" spider and taper back into an 8" cone. To mount it you could have the motor/basket and the cone/mounting ring sandwich the MDF..

idk i might jsut be showing my ignorance but just and idea
