Hey everyone, what would be a good 2 channel amp to run a set of polk momo mm6 speakers? Their rms is 150 watts at 2 ohms per side. I have heard that these comps like a bit more power than that though, so I am looking for amps that do 150x2 or 160x2 at 2 ohms.

Right now I'm looking at the Power Acoustik BAMF-800/2.

It does 180x2 at 2 ohms, $89 + shipping

What do you guys think?

I highly doubt it based on its fuse rating alone.

Just to ball park it:

25 amps x 13.8 volts x 60% efficiency = 207 watts RMS total. 207 / 2 = 103.5

No matter how you slice it or dice it, I believe 150 watts RMS per channel @ 4 ohms is a wee bit optimistic at those distortion levels provided.
