2 amps wired to 1 DVCsub possible?

I have a 12" alpine type X and was wondering if I could use 2 amps to power it at 2 ohms, not 4. The wire guide it came with says you can wire 2 amps to 4 ohms but is there a way I can wire it down to 2?? The Sub is Dual vice coil 4 ohms.

are the amps strappable? if not then you gonna have to run 1 amp per VC at 4ohm each.

Yes you can, same amps with the same gain settings.

Strappable? Im not quite sure what you mean. 2 MRD-m1005 Alpine amps..................
