2 amps vs 1 amp

It will be pretty close maybe, if its the same maker.Using 2amps,1- on each sub will prob run alot cooler also,verses a single amp,unless it has a built in fan.IMO:D

 
Under normal circumstances, a single amp (assuming similar efficiency numbers and curves) will almost always be more efficient than two amps. Less loss through wiring, less loss through internal components, etc. not to mention it would be cheaper and simpler to install. No real benefit to having 2 amplifiers.

You don't need two amps. The speakers come with crossovers to help protect the tweeters.

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...
