2 amps on 1 sub

I remember reading somewhere that you can put a separate amp on each voice coil of a DVC sub if you have your amps set the exact same. Is this correct?

Yes that is correct. I have one amp on each VC of my Treo.

the same holds true for a 4 channel on a DVC right? you can run 2 channels bridged to each coil if settings are all the same?
