2 Alpine Type R 15's

I'm looking for an Amp that will power 2 Alpine Type R's, I want max RMS, both subs are 2ohm. Please Help!

The type r 15s are only 750 rms each. Garys amp is 2400 rms plenty of power on tap for those subs.

If they are dual 2ohm, as stated above, you would golden with that set up. That alpine amp does its bet work at 2ohms. Just wire each sub up to 4ohms, and when connected to the amp, the amp will 'see' a final 2ohm load.

I use to have the type r 15s and they got loud and sounded good. I had a hifonics bxi2610 on them. but you need a amp that is 2ohm stable or .5.....and about 2000rms. maybe look into the lanzar opti

lol, old type r's are 750 new one are 1000.... depends if they are grey old or black new...

Pretty sure they never made the black cone 1000 rms version for the 15s. Only newgen ones are 12 and under

Opti2k will be perfect the price for the 2000d has gone up but the 2001d is still around $280 new with warranty.
