Wanting to go sealed..?

I have a Sundown e12 v.2 the parameters say use a 1.0 cu ft box if you're going sealed.. Thats what I want I dont want ported but everyone says go ported you HAVE to with sundown. Does it hurt it if I have it in such a small enclosure it not really being able to open ? Please dont try to persuade me on going ported I do not like the sound. Could I and should I go bigger than 1.0 ? Theres one for 1.5 cu ft cheap on sonic electronix what do I gain or lose by using a bigger sealed box? Any help appreciated!

1.5 would be fine but i wouldnt buy a prefab box..id build a custom one .maybe u dont like the sound of ported bc u have had crappy prefab boxes and never a properly custom designed box ..just my .02..what kind of power are u running ? What car? And what kind of music do u like?

Rap some dubstep and edm alpine mrv-m500 2002 malibu with complete 4ga all through out. Ive heard good ones but everyone already complains about my 2 12 mtx sealed running 400 rms so I dont want any more problems and I love sealed!

Go with 1.5 cubes .

yea 1.5cubes sealed will work great. the driver excels in ported boxes typically around 2.25 in the lower 30hz range but it still does good sealed as well.

i may even try a pair of the 15s infinite baffle now that i think of it
