i got cvrs and had them hooked to a 1000/2 amp and it was loud! made my lights in the car do a strobe show from not enough power lol.

What kind of install is it? Big ported box, big sealed, small sealed, small ported, etc. CVRs take better to sealed than Type Rs, but Type Rs shine in big ported boxes.

RMS on type Rs should at least be 750-800 IMO. Mine are probably getting a bit over 1k daily and as long as you arent a dumbass they take it perfectly fine.
