2 8 inch CT Tropo subs under the seat in a Chevy Crew. Design okay?

It's going under the seat so maximizing space is crucial. I am planning on flush mounting so I'm losing that 3/4 of air space but I could gain it back if I decide not to flush. I've got a net volume of 1.214 with 20.25 sq in of port area (1.5 x 13.5) 25 inches long for a 39ish hz tuning. Subs forward port driver side. I've done all the math many times to make sure of my volume and done my best to ensure that with the sub cutouts at the very bottom of the box the motors wont his the top of the box as it angles back. I guess my main concern is the port height at just 1.5 creating port noise and since I haven't plugged it into winisd yet how the 39 hz tuning with this particular driver is going to sound. I chose 39 to save net volume and because I refuse to tune in the 40s unless someone specifically asks for it.

Single chamber with a hair of a hump. Just 3/4 inch. And never used aero before. Dont have any pvc and I personally find them to be ugly.

Octoport.....!

Also, the customer sent me a pic of the box because i wanted to verify v1 or 2.0 and it doesnt say. Just says Tropo8d4 450 rms. I cannot find a 450 rms tropo 8 anywhere online.

What about a single 10?? with that Octo Port design?
Nah customer already owns the subs. I think I might go with the octoport and use the front and bottom as the left and bottom side of the octo. When I tune the octo is it basically the same as tuning an aero? 2 inch sides would give me about 20 sq inches of port. Might go 2.25 sides for 24.5 sq in.

If you're doing that you will have to account for common walls and make sure you seal the gaps from the octoport. (If I'm understanding you correctly)

Also you don't need quite as much port area using an octo port so keep that in mind.

Is the customer not willing to use the entire underseat in the back? iirc when doing my buddies silverado we were able to get 2 cubes net for two 8's I could be wrong of course as it's been a long while since we did that build

Well, the CT strato 8 recommends 1.5 for two of them so I was shooting for 1.5. And there is certainly enough room to get 2 cubes with the seat raise 3/4 but I didn't want any part of the box extending beyond the seat. Not even 1/4 inch. Trying to keep things nice and tidy.

This is basically what I was going for

But didn't want the subs sticking out this far. At most the baffle on this pic could be the flush mount baffle on mine. And you see the far corner how the box sticks out? Not my preference.

And by sharing a wall with the octoport. Imagine the octo in @CSCStang pic above but move it down and right so that the right wall and bottom wall of the port are the right and bottom of the box.

I think I have my design. No way to do the octo and clamp/glue it properly without using all 8 pieces so I'm gonna glue all but 3 of them then remove them when the other 5 pieces set. Then install the 45 and the remaining 5 pieces to fill in the octo. I could even go 24 on the port since I'll have a slight end correction factor. So 1.5 @ 35 hz. Excellent. Now to plug it into winisd.
