2 15" Type R.... or 2 15" FI Q

i'de get the Q's, and thats coming from someone who previously had a pair of 15 R's. they got loud, but i have a feeling the Q's will sound better.

15” subs do not like trunks muchFour 10” or three 12” in the right box would be louder

hmm... so lets just say i put 2 15" type r's in my trunk, it might not sound as good as it would in an SUV, but would i still get a bunch of air moving throughout the car?

Here's what i was thinking....

2 15" Type R's

Hifonics Bxi 2607D

2 Dual 4ohm subs wired to 1ohm

Amp allows 2500-2600W at 1ohm

5 cu ft. box tuned at 30hz with a 30" port.

Im thinkin that box might be alittle small...

But are you dead set on the arghs? I am still very impressed on my buddies SEALED 15 Q off 1300wrms. I can only imagine it would get louder if it were ported.

box is alil small.. atleast do 6cubes

I have this exact same question, set up will be going in 05 Escalade. My question was is the Hifonics enough to handle the 15rs, I already ordered the subs. Didnt mean to jack you Adrian.

I've owned a 12'' Type R and a 12'' Q, and the is hands down an overall better sub IMO.
