2-12's ported or 2-15's sealed for lows?

I have 2 12's sealed now and they are good but don't push the lows like I remember 15 years ago when I had 15's in a Ported box.

The bad thing is I can't fit 2-15's ported in my trunk, unless I build the box in the trunk which i don't want to do.

So the best I can do is 2-12's ported or 2-15's sealed.

I have a 1k rms@2ohm Mono AMP ATM so was prob gonna get Sundown EV's(I would get better but plan on getting a new car next year and want 18's in that)

Will the above 12's in a low tuned ported box push the lows better or should I get the above 15's sealed?

I'd do 12s in a low tuned box. Never been a fan of sealed

Ported box,sealed box is a waste of time!
