2 10's vs 3 shallow 12's

Ok I have a 1994 toyota pickup (it's a mini truck single cab)right now I have a 12 in p3 slim in there and am not satisfied with the bass so I'm upgrading..I currently have 3 12" p3 shallows with a 1000bd that I was gunna hook up but after doing a little reading on here I see shallows are junk when it comes to loud bass so I was thinking of doin 2 full size 10 inch p3 with the same amp..any reccomendations?I have everything fosgate so i want to stick with the same brand

i dont think youre going to be able to give them tens enough box. I had issues with a single 8 in my toyota, lolz

No it's a bench but I'm planning on putting buckets idk when though..can't the box just be really tall?like put the subs as close to the floor as possibe cuz I'm short so there's more room at the floor of my truck and Therese like 2 feet of space that I would be able to build up to..like the slim boxes that they bulid for trucks jus with a greatter depth at the bottem..do u get what I'm sayin?

i used to have a mid-sized single cab truck, and took out the middle seat, built a center console and put a pair of 8s ported in there. got hella loud man and sounded great. i would suggest picking a new company if you NEED everything to match, picking up a pair of either DD 1508s or Sundown SA-8s.

i had a 1508 in my truck...bish got loud. But i couldnt stand having the seat that far forward, had to get rid of her.

thats why i suggested putting them in between the seats, so that they dont have to get slid forward

I have a bench and like I said idk wen imma get new seats I've never heard of those subs how loud are we talking?I already have the seat pretty much all the way foreward it's like 2 clicks back and that's the farthest I can go cuz I need to be able to push the clutch in

you could probably put the 8s behind your seats, either firing up or forward. they wil be MUCH louder then what you have now if you put them in a proper enclosure and power them correctly
