2 10" type r or 1 12" Rockford p3?

I am trying to decide on 2 10" type r or 1 12" rockford p3. Which one is better and why?

The r's will get lower, louder and probably sound better. Especially in this case having the cone area advantage. But it's all gonna come down to your enclosure. Personally, I'd rather build around 1 10" type r than a p3 12.
