they are the old versions. basically they upgraded the new version to something similar to the old type X and upgraded the old typeS to something similar to the old type R seen above. and redesigned the old typex completly, at least that is my take on things.

i had one 10 on 620 wts and it loved it. mine was the "newer" model, but im perdy sure its the same difference. bump for nice price on nice 10s! -bf

these models will take 300-500 watts RMS daily, no problem.
