2 10'' kicker comp vrs or 1 12'' alpine type x?

right now my setup is 2 10'' kicker comp vrs with a 1600 watt dhd amp powering them...which i am perfectly happy with but....

my friend is selling a 12'' type x for cheap and im considering doing some change in my setup.

ive been wanting to do something like this for a while to save some trunk space.... im thinking the type x would probably also be better sound quality and volume... what do u guys think?

type x, your sound will be deeper, and more dynamic.

thanks, i had that feeling.

and also, how do we feel bout my pos amp powering it? i can get 2 btw.... but im trying to do this spending as little as possible, and i know id be greatly under powering 2 as things stand.
