1993 Ranger Extended Cab Build/install

The resin i got is Bondo brand...got it at PepBoys...how ever a also got a gallon at a local car parts place that was way more expensive but i couldnt tell a difference when i was making the molds.

started fillin the speaker grill thing and window handle today. hopefully gonna get the panels smoothed up and primered today and tomorrow...gonna glass the pods too with 2 layers of mat today and tomorrow too...will have pics up l8er

i just bought piece by piece till i had everything then saved up a couple weeks to get all the glass stuff.

Got the doors bondoed up so far today...gonna try to get the first layer of mat down on the pods here in the next hour or so.

well guys i got alot more work done today......

one of the best investments ive ever made:

im going to try my hardest to get the drivers side done today (bondo completed and sanded with a coat of primer on it.)

oh yea...window tint is after this but before my L5 gets put in....and i was think black too...cause when i repaint my truck its gettin murdered out too....no emblems, roll pan, tailgate handle relocated and black rims....but i kinda want the interior 2toned.

Not a big fan of the L5 or the PGs, as I have had both at one time and just didn't care for them, but your 1st time at fiberglassing looks excellent! I would never be able to do as good as you are for my first time, I just know it, lol!

well its only my first true system....my other "system" consisted of 2 10" RF P1s and a RF 300.2 amp...so this should be a big improvement. and thanks on the compliment on fiberglassing....it hasnt been nowhere near as hard as i ha thought it would be but does require patience and lots of it....been it hasnt been to rough considering its just a project to due over the summer and wait til i get my wiring kit (been puttin a lil up from each paycheck to go towards CA.) my plan is to have it all done by the time i go back to high scholl (senior year YAH!!!!) at the end of August.

well i almost got this drivers door done!!!!YAY!!! heres the pics with 1st coat of primer....theres still some places i need to smooth out ....and i think im gonna add some more bondo to make the pod flow better...you can tell where the top of it is.

do more bondo on the area where the speaker is... looks great now but do that and make it flow better will be great once that is done!
