hey for everyone out there you ever notice that black area rattle'n like a bish?

my whole **** door panels rattle like a bish....hence y im makin pods...to hopefully get rid of the whole thing rattling so bad. new pics up in a few.

Got the bottom taped off for the mold. Got the top carpet piece resined up also...didnt get to make the mold yet due to a aweful t-storm that decided to roll through

As for the center console, just go with something simple, in my opinion. Maybe some storage, a flip open lid (in between the seats), then have it come down into some cup holders/iPod dock/whatever in the front.

the shifter is a long story....lol...When me and my dad had all my interior ripped out (changing it from tan to grey, and puttin all power locks/windows/mirrors in) he went ahead and JB Welded the knob on and didnt realize til the next day he forgot to put the boot on first...lol...so we had to take the whole shifter off and break the knob off and he had that knob layin around so i was like hell wit it and put it on..lol.

UPDATES:

Managed to start on one of the molds tonight. Got the first layer done on just one. Does it look aight from wat u see....may have to go a lil higher on the mold tho. this project id definitely a learning experience as its my first time messing with fiberglass.

managed to track down a local place that sales resin per gallon....also got 2nd layer of mat down on both panels....will drill for bolts to mount with and 3rd layer 2nite or 2marro.

Im thinking about gettin a console out of an explorer (older model) to put there.

thats what i plan on, ive got the shorter half length console but im putting a full length 95-01 exploder console with the storage cubby removed to make room for the shifter. then ill clean it up by changing to a black leather shift boot and cut about 1 1/2" off the length of the shifter.

yea i like the shorter console better.....these pods are taking me forever to finish...lol...but im taking my time on em so theyll look the best possible for me....i still gotta sand the rest of the panel smooth.

Got some progress done finally....got the bolts glassed in and the molds popped off the doors today. Pics arent the greatest cause they were took with my phone. Gonna cut them to size in the morning sometime...then gotta wait for my PG RSDs to come in.

yes the one on the left is bigger....they WILL be the same size when i cut them tomorrow.
