1992 Camaro RS Speakers

Alright so, my question is, has anyone done a custom system in a 1992 Camaro RS? That's a third gen, by the way.

I know there are 4x6's in the dash, optional 4x6's in the kick panels (Why on earth would you put 4x6's in kick panels?), and, 6x9's in the rear sails.

I know about the kick panel enclosures to fit 5.25" speakers, but that won't work 'cause the car is getting converted back to a five speed soon. I won't have anywhere for my size fourteen foot to rest.

Door speakers are a possibility, it has crank windows, but only if you know of a way to make the speaker clear the window crank handle, or maybe some aftermarket door pods? Do they make such door pods for a reasonable amount of cash? I'm not talking some local shop, I'm talking something like the Q forms for the kick panels.

I know that some 5.25" speakers can be fit into the dash, but I don't want to do this because I don't want to hack my dash up.

So, other than what I know, what are my options?

I love the 3RD Gen Camaros, I finally had to let mine go (300,000 miles original engine and *****) I had speakers on my doors that were semi custom. I bought and pieced together 2 - 5.25 spacers and placed them on the door. It looked fine. I think i got the spacers from parts express.

Yeah get the spacers from parts express shipping is pretty hard on ya but they have good stuff

I won't let go of my car even when it has 300k miles, I'll just take it apart and fix everything. Anyway, thanks for the info, I was told with crank windows you have to do something with the cranks to make the door speakers fit. Guess not.

I'm not entirely sure about doing door speakers though, my door panels are pretty nice and I don't want to screw them up. It's an option though.
