Damplifier On Floor 2:

I'm planning on doing the entire floor in Damplifier and Luxury Liner Pro. I can already tell a huge difference in road noise from just doing the doors so I can't wait to see how much this helps. I will have pics of the TV install coming tomorrow or the next day. Thanks everyone!

Ok to start this update I wanted to give some more props to my box builder Vitveet and show the pictures of the box build. This box is super sturdy, was built exactly and I mean exactly to spec and looks great to boot. Again the box dimensions are 36" wide, 14" tall and 29" deep. It's 4.5 cubes of airspace tuned to 31 hz and has a 6.75" wide port with 84.5 square inches of port area and will house two 12" 2005 RE XXX. On to the pics..

Thanks again V! I will definitely be coming to you for future builds.

Ok, one more little update while I am waiting for a couple more of my electronic components to come in. I finally got the entire floor done with Damplifier. I ended up using Damplifier Pro on the floor because the DeVille seemed to have a lot of road noise. I also have 32 square feet of Luxury Liner Pro I am going to lay down too so maybe that will help.. There aren't many pictures this time because there isn't much to see but here ya go..

Here is a picture of my wife taking time out of here day to help me install some Damplifier Pro. What a wonderful woman and she will never know I much her doing little stuff like this with me means to me.. Our three year anniversary is June 18th! By the way, ain't she sexy!?

Ok here is a picture of the back firewall.. There is absolutely almost no cut throughs so it makes it hard for the bass notes to get into the cabin. So you know what.. I'ma cut that ***** out. LOL Pics of that to follow:

As always, comments and suggestions are appreciated and asked for. Let me know what you think!

Ok, even though it was raining on and off all day I got a couple of things done I needed to do. I got the box for my theatre sub done. It's an RE SE 10" D4 and it is going to sit in the back window area. I didn't take any pictures of it yet because I haven't gotten the vinyl put on yet.. pics coming soon!

I also managed to get the board for my Digital Designs Z1A and two Cooler Master Cross Flow Fans done. The board is 36" x 15" and will be bolted onto the back firewall. The Cooler Master fans are pretty cool. They are 13" long by 2" and 2". They each came with their own controller but I wired them both to one to make it easier. The controller has four settings. Off, Low is 1400rpm, Middle is 1800rpm and high is 2500rpm. They were made for computers but I thought they would do a good job keeping the Z1A nice and cool. I also built some raising panels so the fans would blow on top of the amp as well as into the heat sinks.

Tomorrow I'm hoping to get the amp board installed. I will install the amp at a later date when the install is closer to completion. I may also work on getting the mounting brackets ready for my RF Power 1000, Trunk Bats and other accessories that are back there. More updates and pics coming soon!
