1989 Box Caprice, 2 Hifonics Goliath 15's....Build

i did a lil early christmas shopping and bought a slotported box for my 15's..they are hooked up to My Directed 1100d @ 1ohm. I can only turn the amp like maybe 10-15% of the way....any higher and it blows the amps fuses. trust me i went through a few 40 fuse packs

there is something wrong if you are blowin fuses

Check your ground if your blowin fuses like that.

i mean i had a fuse holder but i ran outta fuses. So i temporarily ran the 1/0ga straight to the battery from the amp. idk y they keep blowing i want to get some 50 60 or 70 fuses...because the amp's 2 40fuses blow when i turn the amp up past 10-15%. Its @ 15% now but i want to be able to turn it up all the way but i cant because the amps 2 40fuses will blow so what am i Doing wrong? is it because the 1/0 ga power wire doesnt have a fuse holder on it?

Its blowing fuses so you just take them out?? Rewire the amp and ground man. Quick.

yes the AMPS 2x40fuses keep blowing and i keep replacing them. So can the ground be the problem.....?? the ground i got might be weak..

i got another fuse holder its gotta 80amp fuse and the amp has 2 40fuses....the 40 fuses in the amp still keep blowing when i turn the amp volume up past 10-15%

dude take it to a shop, let them check your grounds, connections, wiring, fusing. they can help ya figure it out and then out and then you can do it yourself.

Ok i got rid of 1 of the 15's so now. im goin with the Single 15" off my Fusion 2500d @ 0.5ohms....I am trying to upgrade my electrical/ do BIG 3....but i have a few questions

I have 1/0gauge power wire running through my car now and i gottta deal on CL for $60 for 20ft of 0g and a 250 digital Fuse n fuseholder..... But i wanted to do the BIG 3 with my current 1 gauge wire and then Reaplce my power wire the 0ga.....does it matter which way i do it or should i just do the big 3 with the 0ga because it gives more power...idk im kinda confused

Who cares? Id suggest using the bigger of the two for alt wiring.
