18" subs that work well in 4 cubes?

I've had 3 19ov.2's in 10.5cu.ft. @ 42hz doing 148 on TL with a PowerbassXA3000D.So roughly 1000k a piece. I tried them with 4.25cu.ft. a piece but they love 3.5cu.ft. the best.(which is what Elemental Designs recommends) 2k would really push these though, maybe turn it down a notch. It'd wang though. Hope this helps.BTW I have 5 of 'em. Also I've heard RAB's current set-up(2 Fi fully loaded 18" BTLS in 8cu.ft ported,it's loud as fvck and clean) and he's selling those on here.

I mean for what purpose? What are the 15's not giving you that you're hoping to do with some 18's?

I ask because you're massively limited in what you could do with 8cu and a pair of 'em. It looks like pretty much all you can do is go sealed or go at the minimum enclosure size if you can go ported. Seems a little foolhardy.

Makes more sense to me to find the best setup for the space you have rather than starting with what setup you want and then trying to find a way to smush it in there.

plan on reselling then since you have NO goal in mind and will be building a less then ideal set up if you choke off a pair of 18's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Well hey, good on ya if you have the cash to buy a pair of 18's to just "experiment", but personally if I wanted to upgrade I'd just try to get higher-end subs rather than going up.

Or hell, go all out. Get a 21 and give it the full 8cu by itself.

don't have the hight to fit a 21, other wise i would have done it a while ago, lol.

yes that would be 8 cubes after displacement

got a guy need me with 2 18" nightshades in 8.6 cubes, so im gona check them out and see if i like it.

what 15's do you suggest that would be louder then my aq's on same power/space?
