18" MT! I know there's a few guys on here with them!

Will an 18" RE MT be as loud hopefully louder then 2 HC 15"s for daily? Power will be 2 JBL 1200.1, which is what I had on the HC's.

I would put the 18" in a big ported box tuned to around 33hz. Should I try out the 18 or just get my HC re-coned? I am looking for overall loud crushing street bass, and the HC's gave me mostly just loud lows.

Cliffnotes: Will 1 MT 18 be as loud or louder then 2 HC 15's both with 2 JBL 1200.1s?

dual .7's and a good box design..will be close. cant really say.

The HC's will sound much better imo.

Never heard an HC...what are they comparable to? I have an 18" MT and I had an XXX and SE

They are comparable to the SX's and SE's I would say. Maybe kind of inbetween?

I kind of just want to try it out becuase I have had my HC's for a while now and want something different. I just don't want the MT to be a downgrade. I mean my HC's hurt me bad when I turned it up, will the MT be the same way?

Well my freind has had 2 15" sx which are closely compared to the HC's and he replaced it with a 15" mt and the sx's were barely and I mean barely louder then the mt so I'm guessing the 18" mt would beat the 2 15" both setups ported and ran off a orion 2500d SO if and on a side note the orion laughed at that amp sooo But thats y I said my imo so dont please get a life and type something benifitical to this guy not something that makes you think that your funny.

only thing im able to contribute is that a 18MT is louder than a 15XXX...

i think most people would be surprised with the sound quality of a MT

and with it tuned to 31hz it actually has some crazy lows, they arnt as clean as the XXX's were but they are meaner
