18" box help

I have a question which box would be better both are tuned to 35 and the dimensions are 50w x 22h x 14d. One is sub and port forward port is 4" wide and 21.25 high. Other is sub forward and port up and the port is 7" wide and 12.5 high. Which is best

Where and in what vehicle will this be in? Depends on where the enclosure will be. I have a feeling the 2nd would be better imo...but I'd like to know a bit more

i would love to keep it but i cnt get a big enough box to do ported. might still try if i cant find anything

Then yes, I would do sub forwards port up (I can vouch for this with my current setup)...but I wouldnt just have an enclosure sitting in the back seat, hopefully it will be made to be a part of the car. I would also have the port as far back in the interior as possible, firing up.
