well im figuring out what system i want to have when spring hits. and i am leaning towards an 18" fi bl. i will have to build the enclosure in two pieces or so obviously since there is no trunk that yuo could slide a 8 cf box into lol. anyways this is just an idea which i am seriously considering. without further adue here are some pics.
that is not the port i will be using haha i was jsut playign around with some ideas. i would like some suggestions on how to run the port. i wanted to just run it straight back however it would run into the sub. The port is 8x12.5x22
the bottom of the box is 36x36 and the top piece is 20.5x36. the net volume before port and sub displacement is 7.8cf. it will dip into the spair tire well to allow the sub enough room to mount. and it will be sub back/up as you can see and it will port into the cabin through the center of my back seat where there is a little opening. unless there is a better place to port it....
basically i would like any comments/suggestions on the box, and on how to run the port/ placement of it . also is 100 sq inches good. it is tuned to 32 hz btw and yes the model "sub" is to spec basically. well its overall diameter and depth are what fi specs say.
