lol well my second run doing bass race, first one i didnt have a remote so it sucked...but anyways i did a 139.8/139.9 for the whole run....im going to brace the box soon, and should be doing a consistant 139.9. my peak spl is not impressive, but on music at around 36hz im at 140+...so my goal of having a loud bass race system was acheived. by no means did i expect to pull a high number via burping. no vids yet...once i do some modifications to the box i will get a video up of my runs

i took the top off today. since i glued it i didnt want to tear it all off, so i just took a jig saw 12" deep from the back. then when i got inside i found why its sounded shitty the past few days. as you will see in pic 2, the screw and glue holdign the port on broke free and has been loose. so i glued it up, fired more screws in it, and now its solid.

definatly sounds better. not a noticable difference in how loud it is...but i guess the tl will tell

here are a few pics.i stufffed the backside and the sides with blankets. it really helped reduce flex and more importantly my car doesnt rattle as much anymore

lol i got the idea from mazdakid a while back. it really helps reduce panel flex behind the box and it doesnt rattle nearly as much. it almost completely seals of the cabin from the back half of the trunk. i havent got it metered yet after putting all the blankets and shit in but i imagine in will be louder thant it was
