1600w wires~PLZ HELP

I was just wondering if i hooked up my old 460watt RMS amp to my 1600w amp kit, would it blow the amp? because the 1600w amp i bought was only really 160ws so i cant use it

I assume the "1600W" kit uses 4awg wire? If it does, you're fine...
