personally.........
people need to quit throwin in subs that "THEY" have got to handle huge amounts of power in their setups. The subs that need to be mentioned are subs that can handle that kind of power even in a shitty setup... this kid might not be able to get the perfect box and the perfect signal and blah blah to make an AQ handle 3500 rms daily.... In which i know a lot of people have....
to the OP.... DD 9500 wont take that daily..... the MT's wont either....(Daily) Now some installs yes they have handled that..... but I have seen a 9515 blow on 2500 rms in a good installation... They do great on burps....
I would personally look into a good Daily Sub.
SS XXX
LMS ULTRA
RD HeavyWeight
RD Alpha Max
Treo CSX
(just to name a few off the top of my head)
I even think a custom built BTL or Nightshade could handle that...
You need a sub that can survive 3500 rms cranked. Not just a sub that can handle that in certain setups. I mean cranked... that way you have some room for error in case your box is not up to par with what your wanting the sub to do... or you have a dirty signal.... or many other problems... clipping...heat....ect....
