some examples of the trunk size

I'm assuming MDF and putting the boxes in through the hole when the seats fold down would be the easiest. Unless you're trying to go for crazy looks that makes the most sense to me.

Build the box in the car?

What kind of airspace can you do with a straight rectangular mdf box?

FG could work. Take a mold of the tire well and bottom of trunk, then thicken it up. Put it back in trunk, then build mdf off of it.

....walllllll! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i am running a pair of kicker xpl's so they dont need a hug amount of space either way

i want a ported enclosure with really good control of cone movement i dont want the spiders to tear on my dear old moofers

What type of airspace do you need. That is the big question. I had a 94 civic sedan. I believe the biggest you can go in one shot is 3.5 cubic feet. Might be able to stretch 3.75 cubic feet. You will never fit a box through the back seat. It has to fit throught the trunk opening. If you eliminate the spare tire and incorporated that ,you can biuld an enclosre to fit that and screw the the bottom enclosure and top enclosure together in the car to get a bigger box.

i can use the whole trunk including the spare tire well but it has to be removable......(or else 380whp would be useless lol)

i would not bother with 15's if you plan to remove the box constantly to run the car. i would do 2 12's in a ported box or do the 15's in a sealed enclosure.it will be easier to remove on a regular basis. been there done that.

i dont even think you're supposed to use kicker xpl's in ported boxes anyways someone correct me if im wrong lol

give kicker a call and they can tell you all the specs you need.they can tell you what size to biuld your enclosure and if you can go ported or not.
