wait he claims to have made boxes 10 years ago and his profile says he's 20. when i was 10 i was watching power rangers and playing sega genesis. not making car stereo enclosures 6 year before i even get a liscense
My 5th grade science project involved building a sub box for a radio shack 10 - my first, which was the first box I built. 2" hole cut with a hole saw was the "port" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
At that time I was very into home audio... being that I didn't have a computer (and didnt until softmore year of highschool, there is life outside the internet!?!?!?)... all I did was come home and work on the stereo. I had/have quite a collection of radio shack drivers, since thats all I knew existed.
You were playing sega while I was reading box design books @ the library //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif. I read the loudspeaker design cookbook, among others. I also read a book on how to build amps somewhere in there.
One of the first things I did when I had to get my TI-83 for highshool was make a program that used the calculations for tuning from whatever book I had... remember, no internet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I read.. what was it... car sound and security? Something like that... its what jewel had... and I read stereo review, of which i have a gigantic stack of in here somewhere.
Those were the good ole days when setups that probably wouldn't have barely broken a 135 were the loudest thing on the planet.... was very different 10 years ago lol.
