My best run so far. I wired the AQ3500v1 down to .25 ohm and went from 148.9 to 152.5. I wish I could find another AQ3500v1 to strap

Found another AQ3500v1 finally and wired both of them to .5 ohm. Setup now does 154.4db @ 40hz and 151.something @ 28hz.

Nice scores. So the only thing that's been changed are the Powerbass XTA's to AQ3500s? Did you ever meter them on the XTA's?

Yeah thats the only change. I never metered the powerbass amps but they did sound quite a bit louder to the ear

ive used the powerbass asa1000.1s and the first one randomly stopped working after about 2 years, had the second one in about that time and it's still jamming. they do get loud and they're not bad amps imo but they get extremely hot so setting the gains properly and keeping them cool is a must, sitting there for 30 mins at full tilt probably did it lol

i dont think they're very efficient either...

the only asa series amps i have owned were the 2 channels. I still have a xa900D that defintely does rated power and hasnt overheated yet
