Should I go with the 12in DCON, or 2 of the RE 8s in the FS if he splits them up?

my amp is underrated at 800 watts and i have played the dcon's at high volume for entire cd's without getting them warm.

What amp? And what do you have your subs wired at?

I wouldn't touch any RE made after 2005 with a 10 foot pole. Chinese garbage. Not nowhere near as bad as kicker or something of that nature but give it time. LOL

RF 801S wired bridged @ 4 ohms total (2 D4's).

Im about to say **** it and go for an upgrade instead of downgrade with cash. I got $300 after shipping for my SA-10s and the box, which is what a DCON and a decent box is going to cost me. Im thinking maybe I should grab something decent and keep my ZRS-C65, or get something with more power. Grr, too many options.

knu 1/0 , big 3 in knu 1/0 , knu distro , 4 ga going to the RF , and 8 gauge going to each of the zed made hifonics. 120 amp alt , one battery.

I drop to mid 12's at full tilt @ idle and stay in low 13's at full tilt when driving normal speeds.

Had planned to get a cheap 12 and sell my amp, and run the sub of bridged channels of a 4 channel amp, and pocket the rest. Not exactly turning out as planned.

Plus I just want a change.

Ill probably just try to wait a few days and see what pops up in the FS section, and list my ZRS-C65 for sale/trade. If nothing happens, Ill probably grab a DCON like I planned to, or maybe grab a nice 15 to run 1000w from my ZRS-C65.

I really wish I could find an old RE SE. I loved the one I had.
