150 On Termlab Out A Trunk?

If your seats fold back, then its almost as good as a hatch.
Not really Id say the average difference between a trunk and a hatch/suv is around 3db's more or less. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Where exactly do You see that statement?

It CAN be done but I only know of two trunk cars that got to/near/over 150.0 on the TL on the dash. The 'simpler' of those two cars was more then a year in the making.

I've been over 150 legal in an well equipped SUV, but that took more power then I could afford and so didn't last very long.

I can think of a handful of people that I know that have hit 150 or near it on a termlab in a truck. One budy of mine has 2 12 mmats procasts in a honda civic with the seats folded back, and he hit 149, and he still has many options to make it louder with. His car is heavily modded though. Ive never heard 2 12 procasts that loud ever off the power he had to them.

I'm curious on the statement of 9515 vs. Massive DMX. Everyone who uses DD 9500's and 9900's knows that unless you've got 3-4kw per 9500 and 5+ kw on a 9900 you aren't giving it enough to shine about the rest. I agree with Noah and NJccbflo that 148 if you're lucky is what I'd guess it at. Not enough power or port area IMO.

Mackenzie, any links to those car's?? If you're pulling 149 with 2 12"s you're competing so I'd love to see the link to them.

I will do at least a 148. As far as trying to do a 145 on the AC your crazy cause my girls ALPHASONIK 800X 12 with a ALPHASONIK 900 watt amp in a 2.5 cube ported box did a 144 and that 1 12 and 900 watts stock bat and alt. The car will do a 150 for shure it may take a little time for adjustments and maybe some bigger amps but it will get there. I will try to get pics of the sub posted for me, And I will post pics of install when it's complete hopefully in the next month or maybe a little longer,

Old AC meter i'd assume?? Even though the new one is a little lose it's still 3-5 db's tighter than the old one's. Take that 144 on an AC if it's older and it's about a 134 on the new TL.

Actually the new AC 190 mic is 1.5DB more than the new termlab according to Moe Sabourin //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
