150 db trunk or not

Whats going on everyone ?

well i started here a while back trying for 150 db from my trunk and last i meterd was 139.x on 2 12s since then ive rebuilt upgraded and downgraded .Ihad 1 extra battery hc600 in the trunk and was still loosing volts from a newer mm4000.1 140 amped i think and well i thought i was to get 1500watts from it and i gues it got tested and was doing 900 watts

. my latest setup s now 4 pioneers in the trunk still &ported ON probably less than 500watts from a crunch 2/1 channel powerzone. seems to be the loudest thus far . sold the hc600 now im on onlu battery from hood and 1 run of 0/2 wire.

i had the mm4000.1 on the 4 12s but voltage drop was serious so i kept it down to where i got minimal voltage drop . now that im running even less power im lost a bit on my next step. which wont be for a while .

my subs are 300 rms and 1300 peak . i was thinking of beefing up my electrical and grabbing 4000 watts of rms and burp that way i could just wire them up to 4 ohms after the burp and still have a daily system while hoping i burp a 145 + (idealy 150db who knows)

Any one have thoughts on this ?

getting electrical and 4k would make way if i were to get new subs is what i figure anyhow .

downside 4k amps are not budget friendly and my subs only wire to 4 or 1 ohm so stapping amps is not much beneficial at the moment.

lanzr opti 2000.1d is what ive looked at but theres so many things i dont like .

50hz low pass .1 thd. not sure how long it would last 120 amps of fusing

only goods is supposed cea compliant and .5 ohm stability allowing me to strap 2 @1ohm

which leads me to my next route . upgrading to 2 4 more 12s forcing me to dith the 150db trunk goal and going strictly sound/bass machine with 8 12s replacing my backseats but not a full wall(going only as high as or a little higher than where my seats are )leaving my rear window viability .allows me to use less electrical upgrades and allowing my to run something along the lines of 2 1200s strapped .

all daily and darn better be 150db + after all said and done

anyone with thoughts on it?

You're not likely going to hit 150 with best buy equipment.... especially not out of a trunk.

I am slightly confused here. Are you trying to do a 150 out of the trunk with a half wall? If so that is not in the trunk at all.

and installation vs equpment means much . bestbuy didnt do the installation and yes i know its budget stuff nor did i buy any of it from bestbuy. although its likely what they and walmart carry . let me do the worrying about whats being used .

I doubt 4 Walmart 12s on 2k will do a 150 when a walled ranger running 4 15s or a pair of 18s on 4k struggles to do it.

half walled it'll be something like 8 12s and 2500 daily Ihave thought to 12 12s but i have even tried to figure a box for that .

150 in db drags or meca is gonna take way more than walmart bestbuy can supply. Out the trunk is a challenge itself. but then you go and restrict your product choices...

If your seriouse about getting loud, hit me up and I can help you chose better gear. and what not.
