15" Subs?

I have a Nissan -Titan King Cab(extended cab) and it needs a LOT more bass to make me happy. I plan on removing the 40 part of the 60/40 bench seat in the back and puting a single 15" sub in there. Im not going to have too much airspace but I am looking for the loudest best souding single 15 or 12(maybe 13?) to put back there.

I have a friend who put 2 15" L7 in his extended cab and I wasnt too impressed by how loud they were, and also sound quality was only okay. I was thinking of maybe doing 1 15" L7 but I was hoping for more better souding bass than that one would give me. I was also looking at a Solo X 12, 15" T2, 13W7, and I dont know what else other than that to get. Maybe a 15" MT? I just cant find the specs on these anywhere. Any help would be awesome.

ive heard the Solo X's sucked on SQ

MT is going to be the loudest probably of the ones you mentioned, and sq is okay on them

if 2 15"L7s didnt cut it fo ryou, i would kick the W7 out

Obviously your buddy with 2 15" L7's had some kind of problem... That should be enough bass to nearly kill a person if done correctly (hypothetically and slightly exaggerated but...) YOu aren't gonna have enough space to fill your needs. Period.

Unless you have money for something like an Rl-s or one of those new Earthquake subs with 4" of excursion.

Power- I dont have an amp yet, so whatever I need

Im not going to have extreme space so I dont think ill lose SQ, but I should have enough for 1 15" sub, I think.

There had to have been something wrong with his subs, I was expecting it to blow my ears out.

With small space you lose SPL, not SQ... Large airspace is needed for high SPL systems.

And yes, usually 1 15" L7 can be expected to get low 140's high 130's if the person has any idea what they are doing. They are awful close to an 18" sub.

How much are you looking to spend on this project?

15" rl-p will do you justice in tight space like that. you won't be disappointed. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
and doesn't take that much power to get moving either.
x2.

I will have two of them shortly. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I just want to get a bunch of different ideas for subs. I have enough to buy pretty much any 15 and amp that I want saved up for my system.

One other thing that I have heard about L7s is they are not the best quality build. Ive heard a lot about them blowing and having other problems. Also, I want it to be loud as I can possible get it, but at the same time, I want it to sound good as well. A 15 L7 might be the right one, I just want know if there are some louder/better souding subs out there.

Nobody has talked about subs like the 15" T2 or anything else, anybody used these? Or what about the RE 15 MT? I just dont know how much airspace it needs and also what amp. The website isnt very helpful for that.

RL-P with a 700 watt amp? Something that makes me not want this is kinda wierd but the sub was really cheap off of sound splinter. Usually cheap sups arent as loud and dont sound as good. Im looking for sounding good and really loud.

It does have a low requirement for a vented box though, that is something that could be nice.
