15" Incriminator Audio LI d2 - blown voice coil?

I installed my LI awhile back and one day one of the voice coils just stopped working. The tinsel looks connected and everything, but I don't get any connectivity when I check it with my DMM.

I'm running it on a single coil now, will that damage it? And does anyone have any ideas for fixes? I don't really want to pay for a recone.
