Installing new JVC radio

Trying to install a new JVC radio but of course, their wiring is different colored than the factory.

My car has

1 - green/white

2 - green/black

1 - orange/black

1 - blue/red

1 - white

1 - blue/black

The JVC connector has

1 - yellow

1 - black

1 - red

1 - white/blue

1 - grey

1 - grey/black

1 - purple

1 - purple/black

1 - white

1 - white/black

1 - green

1 - green black

So, the question is, what is the correct hook-up?

need the info on ur car. but best bet is to get a wire harness for ur car they run about 5-10 bucks and will make everything so much easier

Already did that. Working with a 99 Ford Contour with factory amplifier. That only leaves me with 6 wires, yet now of them are speaker wires on the jvc adapter.

this is what direct techs got for ur cars wireing diagram hope it helps

Radio 12V orange/black + radio, 8 pin plug, pin 1

Radio Ground black/green (x2) - radio, 8 pin plug, pins 2 and 6

Radio Ignition blue/black + radio, 8 pin plug, pin 3

Radio Illumination white/green (dimmer) + radio, 8 pin plug, pin 4

Factory Amp Turn-on white + radio, 8 pin plug, pin 8

Power Antenna black/green + radio, 8 pin plug, pin 7

Left Front Speaker (+/-) white/black - brown/yellow +,- radio, 8 pin plug, pins 1 and 2

Right Front Speaker (+/-) white/red - brown/red +,- radio, 8 pin plug, pins 5 and 6

Left Rear Speaker (+/-) white/purple - brown/white +,- radio, 8 pin plug, pins 3 and 4

Right Rear Speaker (+/-) white - brown +,- radio, 8 pin plug, pins 7 and 8

I'm pretty sure I understand that, but what I don't understand is what those hook-up with to the jvc adapter.
